Full-Time position in Fayetteville.

-Examines patients, diagnoses their dental conditions, prescribes and carries out appropriate dental/oral treatment, or refers individuals for specialty consultation or treatment in conformance with approved clinical protocols and guidelines.
-Promotes oral health by providing educational information on all phases of preventive and restorative dentistry and oral hygiene.
-Records chart documentation within Dentrix as they occur, or within 48 hours of treatment date in the patient’s dental record so that the dental record accurately and completely reflects the care of treatment provided.
-Completes encounters to submit for billing within 24 hours.
-Timely completion of encounter notes within Dentrix (within 48 hours).
-Refer patients which are beyond the scope of SFDC and staff in a manner consistent with established policies and procedures.
-Supervise dental clinic staff to ensure the application of proper practice of technique and methods; update staff as to new practices and procedures.
-Responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of PI for the dental program.
-Prepares specific reports as requested by the health center’s Dental Director or CEO.
-Assists in the provision of continuing education, on the job training, and the orientation of dental center staff.

May be eligible for Loan Repayment through the Office of Rural Health
