Job Overview

HAFSCO is looking for a full time Gas / Warewashing Technician to service its commercial foodservice equipment customers on a daily basis. Job Details include: traveling from one call to the next everyday (can range from as far south as Rye, NY to Essex, CT to as far north as Hartford, CT), install, diagnose, identify and repair specific parts for different types of equipment, documenting work on company work order forms, and preparing material order sheets for the parts department. Equipment consists of commercial dishwashing machines, ovens, ranges, mixers and steamers. Work schedule is Monday thru Friday from 8:30AM to 5:00PM. Technicians use a rotating schedule for 'on call' service calls, which is typically 1 week per month (varies based on # of service techs employed at the time).

Job Requirements

Applicants must be familiar with commercial foodservice equipment

Installation skills not required, but a plus

Factory trained certifications not required, but preferred

Good customer relations skills and team skills

Organizational skills
