Our Burtonsville, MD location is currently hiring for a Full Time Warehouse Associate!

What we are looking for:

• Load and unload trucks, moving merchandise and equipment within the facility and from the loading platform by carrying, pushing, rolling and/or operating hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, or other material handling equipment.
• Safely operate forklifts or other machinery in order to complete tasks such as loading, sorting, staging, transporting, and unloading products.
• Ensure accurate counts of inventory as it comes and goes, rotating stock and properly handling any damaged merchandise and tools.
• Receive, check in and stock merchandise throughout the store and maintain warehouse stock levels accurately, efficiently, and safely.
• Provide top-tier customer service and product information on the store sales floor.
• Pull inventory for customer pick-ups.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable safety precautions.
• Maintain department orderliness and cleanliness utilizing established standards found in Assigned Sections.
• Perform all tasks as assigned, including cashiering, stocking shelves, receiving merchandise, processing shipments and store stocking, store cleanliness, sales, and operating equipment.

What we are looking for from you:

• Experience working in a warehouse, distribution center, shipping and receiving department, or similar environment.
• No retail experience or formal education is required. Retail experience is a plus.
• Ability to stand and walk in a store consistently for up to 4 hours or more at a time.
• Routinely bend, climb, and twist; the position requires the ability to retrieve, move, and stock products.
• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Driving a forklift in this type of setting is a plus.
