The Aging and Disability Resource Center of the North (ADRC-N) is seeking applications for a unique full-time Information & Assistance Specialist. This position will be shared position with the Iron County Branch and Sawyer County Branch. This position will require regular travel between Iron and Sawyer Counties as well as options for remote work. These details will be discussed in further detail with potential candidates. Duties include providing the public, but particularly adults who are elderly or have a disability or mental health or substance use disorders, with information, referral, and assistance to a wide range of community resources; help inform and educate people about their options; provide intake, eligibility determination and enrollment into Long Term Care Programs. This is a full-time, regular position with starting hourly wage range of $22.78-$26.91, based on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications: Minimum of a four-year degree from an accredited college in social work or other approved human services program or a license to practice as a registered nurse in Wisconsin pursuant to s.441.06 Stats, and the equivalent of at least one year of experience in a health or human service field, working with one or more of the client populations served by the Aging and Disability Resource Center (elderly or adults with physical or developmental/intellectual disabilities). Qualifying work experience may be paid or unpaid and may include internships, field placements and volunteer work. In addition, candidates must have valid driver license and reliable transportation. Candidate must be willing to be fingerprinted, consent to background checks & authorize release of any investigative and criminal records. Overnight travel is required at times to meet training requirements. Health insurance coverage and other fringe benefits are a part of the county benefit package.
