A temporary opportunity with the University of California at Los Angeles Lab School, to take your career to the next step. Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30am-3:30pm

Payrate: $20.97

Parking: $12 per day

1) Manage the general reception functions of the school (i.e. front desk receptionist duties, telephone and walk-in inquiries, messages for teachers and administrative staff, mail distribution). Create and distribute annual intercom and address directories.

2) Respond to and resolve difficult, and/or urgent telephone calls or walk-in inquiries in a professional manner using tact and judgment; maintain equanimity in the face of resistance, indifference, or hostility.

3) Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges).

4) Keep track of, organize and maintain reception desk supplies; order new supplies as needed.

5) Confer regularly with the Admission and Administrative Affairs Administrator, coordinate activities, exchange information, and resolve problems.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
