We're looking for a Front Desk Agent who has strong communication skills, the ability to solve problems proactively and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations. Ideal candidates will have relevant experience, a love of helping people and the ability to lead others in emergency situations. Our organization works hard to meet the needs of our customers, and individuals who join our team need to be able to adapt quickly and be willing to provide an excellent level of customer service at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome all visitors, and answer inquiries to the best of ability in a professional manner.
- Organize and handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Answer telephones and redirect calls as necessary.
- Help visitors find what they need inside the building, such as conference rooms or restrooms.
- Open, close, and maintain security of the front entryway to building.
- Know building layout and emergency exits.
- Assist with any security issues that may arise.
- Assist with any power outages and other crises that may happen.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $18.40 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- On call
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Absecon, NJ 08205: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
