PROJECT DESCRIPTION

We are looking for freelance videographers who are passionate about capturing videos to be used for marketing purposes on social media. The SCC has an eye for telling the story of a business or brand through short-form video clips. All videos will be used on the client’s social media channels such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and/or LinkedIn. Below are some examples of the types of videos we are looking for:

  • Dub/Voiceover/Viral clips (TikTok/Reels)
  • FAQs with the team, doctor, owner
  • Live procedure videos
  • Before/after clips
  • Customer testimonials
  • Office/practice tours

LOCATION DESCRIPTION

Our shoots are typically hosted at the client’s main location of doing business. This could be a medical practice, dental practice, office building, etc… If the client does not have a physical location, we will shoot at a local studio or around town.

***Please note: you must be comfortable shooting in a medical setting as we have medical and dental clients. Sometimes this may require capturing live surgeries, injectables, laser procedures, etc…Please do not apply if you are easily triggered or uncomfortable in this environment.***

DELIVERABLES

The SCC’s main role is to create videos that will be used on social media by attending shoots and delivering all post-production edits. Our team will provide the following:

  • Shoot location, date & time.
  • Set list - description of videos needed, audio links, timeline, and notes.
  • Mood board - a visual asset to share what type of vibe we’re going for.
  • Client coordination - we give the client all the information they need to have a successful shoot.
  • Client communication - all communications are handled by our team. The SCC does not communicate directly with the client outside of the shoot.

In order to eliminate taking your time away from the creative process while also removing any client liability, client communication shall NOT occur between the SCC outside of the actual shoot. If the client reaches out to you directly, you MUST refer them back to us. Any contractor who violates this rule will be immediately removed from all projects moving forward.

Job Requirements:

  • Equipment requirements: all videos should be captured using a professional camera (DSLR or mirrorless preferred), iPhone (as backup), microphone, and/or lighting. Other equipment should include tripods, extra batteries, lenses, etc…
  • Attend Shoots: capture high-quality, short-form video at the assigned location(s) business, studio, etc..Shoots are either 4 or 8 hours in length. Videos should be shot vertically. Our team will attend the first shoot with the SCC to help coordinate.
  • Post-Production Editing: videos must be 90 seconds or less. Edits should include headers, CTAs, intros, outros, and closed captions as needed. Recommended editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Rush, After Effects, Splice.
  • Deliverables: we need a minimum number of edits delivered based on the packages below:

4 hour shoot = >20 high resolution videos (15-60 sec clips)
8 hour shoot = >40 high resolution videos (15-60 sec clips)
All edits are due within 5 business days via Google Drive.
All edits must be uploaded + stored through our Google Drive

We will provide a set list that includes video topics that need to be captured. Clips will be used in the Reels, stories and highlight sections of the Instagram and Facebook pages. Examples of clips can be found below:

AVAILABILITY

We will email our team of approved videographers when a shoot is booked. Shoots are assigned based on your experience working with us, some things we look for are quality work delivered, strong & proactive communicators, those who always meet our deadlines, and easy-to-work-with personalities.

We recommend keeping an eye on your email inbox to stay in the loop on our latest projects. You must have a minimum of 6-12 month availability to take on projects.

PROFESSIONALISM & DRESS CODE

We require our videographers to wear a Social Practice shirt (provided) to each shoot you attend.This helps the client/visitors know who you are and what you’re there for. We have put together a couple of outfit ideas to help you prepare for attending a shoot.

TRAINING INFORMATION

We host a complimentary one-hour virtual training that covers videography for social media, our process, and what to expect when working with us.

Upon completion of your interview, background check, and reference check, we will reach out to schedule your online training. ***Please note: you must complete our online training in order to be assigned to any new projects..***

COMPENSATION INFORMATION

We use Square direct deposit for compensation. For projects completed between the 1st and the 20th of the month, your direct deposit will hit on or around the 27th. If you complete a project between the 21st and 31st of the month, you will be paid by the 8th upon delivery of assets. Our compensation structure for shoots can be found below:

  • $500 - 4 hour shoot = 20 high resolution videos (10-90 sec clips)
  • $1,000 - 8 hour shoot = 40 high resolution videos (10-90 sec clips)

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $500.00 - $5,000.00 per week

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Masks may be required - subject to client preference.
