Randall is currently seeking Form Carpenters to work in the Shop & Yard at our Apopka, FL plant & headquarters.
Responsibilities:
Fabricate Forms in the wood shop to be used in creating precast concrete products
- Install Forms on the precast concrete beds to create precast concrete elements
- Comprehend blueprint designs and other drawings
- Ability to fabricate pieces within specified tolerances
- Safe use of all necessary tools and equipment
- Ensure that all manufacturing processes are in keeping with safety regulations
- Supervise staff as required
- Collaborate with other staff to coordinate timing and accuracy of form installation
- Ensure that each project stays within the allocated budget and timeframe.
- Providing input to the Foreman regarding scheduling issues.
Required Skills & Required Experience:
1-3 years related job experience
- Physical stamina to work in extreme conditions
- Must read a tape measure and perform basic math, including fractions
- Safe operation of table saw and panel saw
- Critical thinking with problem solving skills
- Able to work independently or in team environment.
- Efficiently organize and plan work tasks to meet project and company goals.
