Cheese Operator - Food Production

Shift: 1am-9am
Starting Pay – $18.50/hr with an increase after 60 days
The successful candidate will have 1 year of manufacturing experience, experience in food production, basic mechanical skills, basic computer skills, and a proven work attendance history. Excellent communication skills is a must!
Responsibilities:
- Collect samples and test for antibiotics, pH, and other possible inadequacies
- Knowledge of actions and procedures to proactively prevent chemical accidents and/or slips, trips, and falls
- Sanitation and maintaining clean work area
- Good Manufacturing Practices
- Steam and Water Mixing
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift, bend, twist, and balance
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Active Listening — Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times
- Hand Writing — Able to legibly (determined by supervisor) convey written information
- Basic Computer Skills—able to use a computer at the basic level
- Consistent work history - REQUIRED
