Our client, a wealth management and financial planning firm, is looking to hire a financial planning associate on their team.
Role and Responsibilities
· Case preparation for new clients
o Follow up for homework after initial meeting
· Invite to website/provide Secure Share instructions
o Run Planning Software
· Create recommendations scenario to fully fund goals
o Audit current investment strategy
· Run Morningstar reports
· Compare to recommended strategy
o Audit current insurance policies
o Build illustrations
o Create summary detailing results of analysis and recommendations
o Review docs with Advisor in case prep meeting
· Make updates as needed
· Deliver plan
· Case preparation for A segment client annual planning meetings (APMs)
o Organize client One Drive folder
o Request updated information from client
o Reference client's response/case notes/opportunities/tasks/previous planning documents to update plan and build recommendations
o Create planning documents
o Review docs with advisor in case prep meeting
· Make updates as needed
· Deliver plan
· Case preparation for fee-based plans
o Send engagements for signature and organize payment in addition to client preparation process aforementioned
· Case preparation for Lead Advisor client meetings
· Miscellaneous investment operations including accepting investment orders when needed, calling in general securities trades, assisting with investment operations training, and answering team’s investment related questions
· Manage and handles emails with a timely response to clients and teammates
Send planning documents to clients after meetings
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years of financial services experience
- FINRA Series 6 or Series 7 license
- Willingness to obtain CFP designation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
