Overview
The Financial Analyst has the responsibility of forecasting and analyzing financial data for all levels of management within the Drivelines business. This position also includes analysis and project work for the local Operations
Job Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive development of rolling forecasts and annual operating plans (AOP)
- Drive continuous improvement of Driveline forecasting model
- Development of monthly risks & opportunities
- Responsible for AOP and Corporate required reporting including year-end analysis
- Performing month-end causal analysis and journal entry submissions
- Inventory and Material Price Variance analysis
- Monthly inventory reconciliations
- Freight coding, analysis and monthly accruals for Specialty and Drivelines
- Prepare labor, burden, material, and freight rates for annual standards revision
- Maintain standard cost system, including costing new parts through workflow/PCNs
- Work with Operations/Engineering concerning process changes and cost impacts
- Serve as finance team member for appropriations requests to drive EBITDA improvement
- Ensures SOX compliance through annual testing requirements
Job Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Level Degree required
- 1-3 years of finance/accounting experience required
- Strong analytical and organization skills (ability to recognize and resolve issues)
- Ability to function in a changing environment and meet scheduled deadlines
- Experience utilizing critical analysis and thinking skills to articulate financial results.
- Advanced Microsoft Office capabilities including Excel and Access
- Ability to work with employees and leaders from multiple functions/levels
