Job Summary

BASIC SUMMARY:
Provides a basis for management planning, operating controls and financial performance appraisal.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assists in the analysis of financial data and extracts and defines relevant information; interprets data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a financial probability.
  • Performs statistical, cost and financial analysis of data.
  • Assists in the development of financial reports for forecasting, trending and results analysis.
  • Records, classifies, and summarizes financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principals.
  • Helps gather information and assist in preparation of annual strategic plan and operating plans.
  • Prepares materials for presentation.
  • Applies a working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations; verifies documents for completeness and compliance.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A. /B.S.) or equivalent in Accounting or Finance or related discipline.
  • Experience: Two to four years related experience and/or training.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
  • Certification: None.
  • Other: Excellent spreadsheet skills required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to work/type at a computer.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • General office working conditions.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

Compensation Data

The pay range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, and location.
