Job Summary
BASIC SUMMARY:
Provides a basis for management planning, operating controls and financial performance appraisal.
- Assists in the analysis of financial data and extracts and defines relevant information; interprets data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a financial probability.
- Performs statistical, cost and financial analysis of data.
- Assists in the development of financial reports for forecasting, trending and results analysis.
- Records, classifies, and summarizes financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principals.
- Helps gather information and assist in preparation of annual strategic plan and operating plans.
- Prepares materials for presentation.
- Applies a working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations; verifies documents for completeness and compliance.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A. /B.S.) or equivalent in Accounting or Finance or related discipline.
- Experience: Two to four years related experience and/or training.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
- Certification: None.
- Other: Excellent spreadsheet skills required.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to work/type at a computer.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- General office working conditions.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
Compensation Data
The pay range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, and location.
