Location: Eugene Oregon

Hours: 24 hours per week (Flexible days) Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Monarch Medical Weight Loss Centers is Recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS* eligible for credentialing with our contracted insurance carriers) with a current Oregon State License looking for an innovative practice. This position is Part Time, working 24 hours per week. This position is primarily at our Eugene Location on Coburg Road along with possibilities of shift work in our Albany location. We have a group of providers including Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and Physician Assistants. We operate in an energetic environment with excellent clinical support structure. It is the policy of Monarch Medical, LLC that the Nurse Practitioner/Clinical Nurse Specialist provides services to patients including consultation and assessment, diagnosis and treatment, design of treatment programs, implementation and supervision of the treatment program, medication if applicable and both our own and outside resourced educational programs.

Primary Job Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practioner/Clinical Nurse Specialist curriculum.
• Hold and maintain a current and unencumbered Oregon license.
• Hold certification by a governing board (i.e., ANCC, etc.) to practice as a Nurse Practioner.
• Possess a current and unencumbered DEA; and have the ability to obtain dispensing privileges with-in 30 days of hire.
• Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics.
• Broad knowledge of common medication, side effects, and contraindications.
• In depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and best medicine practices.
• Current participation with insurance carriers desired.
