Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in healthcare administration, human services or business administration.
  • Five years leadership in healthcare delivery management in a senior care community environment.
  • Must be a Licensed Assisted Living Director or able to obtain within 3 months of hire.
  • Management skills required to successfully coordinate and oversee the community, its services, staff and priorities.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in the field of gerontology and related issues and apply that knowledge with appropriate sensitivity to Walker Methodist customers.
  • Strong commitment to and understanding of how to build a strong employee culture focused on excellent care, new learning initiatives and diversity.
  • Strong leadership in operations, sales and marketing, business development and the integration of community health services.
  • Proven ability to cultivate professional, strategic and tactical relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Working knowledge of state rules, regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to lead the team in Walker Methodist's Customer Service Principles.
  • Ability to embrace Walker Methodist's Mission: Life. And all the living that goes with it. Enhancing the lives of older adults through a culture of care, respect and service.
