Coordinates and oversees compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulatory requirements at Boise Cascade’s facilities the Eastern Region. Completes technical reports, engineering and related analyses. Negotiates with regulatory staff regarding monitoring, reporting and permit-related requirements. Provides assistance at other Boise Cascade facilities in the Eastern Region, as needed. Administers and oversees the development and implementation of a comprehensive environmental management plan for Boise Cascade facilities in Havana, FL.

Basic Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in an engineering or science discipline. Good leadership, organizational, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills are required. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, database management, e-mail, and internet skills.

Preferred Qualifications: At least 3 years of environmental management experience are preferred. Experience with environmental management at a manufacturing facility is considered a plus.
