Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position:
As a member of the Contracts Department Subcontracts Team, you will be responsible to provide contractual communication and commitments for the complete life cycle of Subcontracts in support of multiple Government contracts. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with both internal policies and Federal Regulations.

Duties:
As a member of the Proposal Team, address subcontract requirements, such as, but not limited to:
  • Collaborates with the Capture/Proposal/Program Manager, including Program Manager Subcontracts, to support overall Subcontractor performance which may include preparing Subcontractor Request for Proposal documentation
  • Reviews or supports reviews of Subcontractor proposals including management of the source selection process by participating with the proposal evaluation team in fact finding, technical evaluation, and cost/price analysis, as applicable
  • Negotiates subcontracts within business goals and documents substance of discussions, agreements, and results; Negotiates terms and conditions including estimated cost or price, delivery, quality, and performance requirements
As a member of the Program Team, address subcontract requirements, such as, but not limited to:
  • Executes engagements with Subcontractors consistent with company policies and Prime Contract requirements
  • Administers and monitors Subcontractor performance
  • Maintains documentation and files in accordance with applicable processes
  • Reviews subcontract documents for accuracy, performance risk, and conformance with contract terms, conditions, and other provisions including applicable federal regulations and business team objectives prior to signature / acceptance
  • Collaborates as a key member of program team to ensure subcontract requirements are fully understood and executed
  • Responds to internal and external inquiries regarding subcontract issues, audits, and compliance requirements
  • Supports the change process and works with the Program Team to mitigate performance risk
  • Advises and supports business team on issues and developments relative to assigned subcontracts
  • Builds internal and external customer and Subcontractor relationships
  • Supports the Contracts Department operations and GDMS enterprise objectives
  • Supports Subcontractor invoice review and approval processes to include resolving discrepancies
  • Complete timely closeout of all completed subcontracts and task orders.

  • Has working knowledge of subcontracts management.
  • Demonstrates good judgment and creativity to identify and resolve moderately complex subcontract issues with some guidance

  • Possesses good verbal and written communication skills

  • Possesses good computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office) to support effective communications and business need

Salary Note: This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. Combined Salary Range: USD $57,700.00 - USD $62,500.00 /Yr. Company Overview:
