Performs preventative maintenance on production, facilities, and warehouse equipment. Helps where needed. The employer will provide on the job training for the job functions and skills below

Essential Job Functions:

• Performs basic preventative maintenance on all types of production and facility equipment.
• Helps maintain inventory of spare parts and shop supplies through local hardware stores and online vendors, including running local errands.
• Safely operate a scissor lift around employees and or production equipment.
• Operate hand power tools on a regular basis.
• Operate equipment such as bandsaw, table saw, drill press, and grinders/sanders.
• Maintain daily log of projects, tasks performed, and lessons learned.
• Willing to work occasional weekends.
• Help with housekeeping in the shop and shop office area.

Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Works and communicates well with others.
• Basic computer skills such as word processing, excel, 3D printing slicers, and web browsers.
• Ability to understand and carry out instructions, both verbal and/or written.
• Strong problem-solving skills, mechanical skills, and organizational skills.
• Self-starter, positive attitude, and a can-do approach.
• Willing to follow proper safety procedures.
• Read and understand basic drawings and blueprints, tape measure, and calipers.
• Experience in operating engine lathes, welders, and milling machines is a plus.
• Experience in AutoCad and SolidWorks is a plus, but not required.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Some experience with automated equipment, PLC, HMI, is a bonus.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to grasp items; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.

Some lifting, pulling, and pushing will be required. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
