Summary:

Responsible for assisting and performing duties which may include an assigned area; performs duties in a customer service friendly, efficient and profitable manner that promotes superior staff, customer and vendor relations, while maintaining the cultural philosophies of Colville Gaming.

Essential Functions:

• Accurately explains winning combinations (pay tables) to the patrons and verifies/processes jackpots.
• Provides accurate directions in operating sports wagering kiosks.
• Performs paper fills as needed, including sports wagering kiosks.
• Corrects minor technical problems with machines.
• Protects all assigned company assets.
• Immediately reports any suspicious behavior by either guests or employees to a manager/supervisor.
• Provides superior guest service in all aspects of duties and addresses customer concerns in appropriate manner.
• Assists newly trained employees.
• Ensures compliance with all departmental, company, gaming, state and federal laws, policies, procedures and any other applicable rules and regulations; will also comply with all required safety codes.
• Assists with promotions and marketing efforts as needed.
• Knowledge of all current and upcoming promotions.
• Maintain cleanliness of work stations which includes, but is not limited to, gaming machines, the MT podium, EGD/Sports Wagering office, etc.
• Maintains company, employee and patron information confidentiality.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Minimum Qualifications):

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1 year of successful customer service experience preferred.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Tribal Gaming License.
• Must successfully complete Title 31, Banking Secrecy Act training
• Ability to work variable hours, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays and possible overtime.

• Will be required to obtain and maintain a Class 12 or 13 Mixology (MAST) permit.
• Must successfully pass TIPS training as required.
• Effective written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.
• Ability to communicate professionally in written, verbal, and non-verbal format while portraying a friendly tone, word choice, and body language.
• Ability to take initiative and be proactive in the duties of the position.

Physical Demands / Work Environment:

• Manual and finger dexterity as required to perform daily job duties.
• Ability to frequently walk and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to frequently bend, squat and/or reach.
• Ability to be given verbal and written instruction and apply the instruction accurately.
• Sufficient visual acuity to write, recognize printed materials, computer screen, and notice non-verbal behavior.
• Speech and hearing ability to project voice to small and large audiences, carry on radio conversations, hear and grasp verbal communications and equipment prompts.
• Frequently works near or around electricity.
• Occasionally works near or around moving mechanical parts.
• Occasionally exposed to vibration.
• Frequently exposed to a high level of noise in the work environment.
• Frequently exposed to tobacco smoke, fumes or airborne particles.
• Frequently exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.
