responsibilities:
Responsible for EDI development focused on coding and mapping activities while following best practices and governance under company standards. Ensure that EDI solutions are operating, including enrichment and translation processes. Engages with other build team resources and cross functional collaboration is necessary. Provides and improves technical collaboration with regards to EDI mapping and solutioning between developers, analysts, solution architects, and business representatives.

- Good understanding of EDI terminologies/standards/domain knowledge/transactions
- Working knowledge of how to create technical specification document/paper map/mapping requirement specifications
- good Communication Skills
- Analytical and detail oriented
- 3+ years of working knowledge on different EDI Applications like OpenText AI, Sterling Integrator, Seeburger BIC/BIS, Axway Product Suites or Oracle SOA and B2B. Preference on Seeburger and Oracle products.
- Exposure to Supply Chain Management business processes, expertise in Transport Management processes is a plus
- good knowledge of EDI transactions using ANSI X12 and/or EDIFACT and XML schemas is required
- Working knowledge of AS2, SFTP, FTP, FTPS, HTTP/S data communication protocols
- Background working with Trading Partner Profile Management
- Familiarization to Agile Methodologies, SCRUM or KANBAN practices would be a plus
- Enabling data exchange for customers and partners through digital channels (EDI or API)
- Contributes to identifying and documenting functional and technical requirements to deliver data interfaces that meets customer needs
- Manages internal and external communication relevant to the implementation; propose risk mitigation steps as needed
- Performing testing and quality control checks
- Supports user acceptance testing with the business teams, customers and/or partners
- Conducts post deployment checks and support (hypercare) as defined within the early life stages of a solution
- Adherence to defined process flow and Change Management practices
- Building, updating, and maintaining functional documentation related to every implementation
