Position Summary:

A successful eCommerce Account Manager will drive the growth of online marketplace business by ensuring products are fully optimized to increase conversion rates and retain strong account relationships. Further, a keen eye for detail and highly analytical approach is required. This role requires an understanding of broad marketing strategy and the importance of developing both upper lower funnel activity to build brand equity and secure short medium-term revenue goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following:

  • Manage established eCommerce Accounts including but not limited to top tier retailers.

  • Manage established KPIs for respective accounts.

  • Improve product and brand information.

  • Drive aggressive sales growth through profitability.

  • Manage ad budget and PPC campaigns for assigned accounts.

  • Continue to grow relationships with current and prospective clients.

  • Oversee account item cost, margin, and annual contract negotiations.

  • Deep understanding of vendor portals and marketplaces.

  • Ability to understand trend analysis and item selling.

  • Provide feedback and input to Product Development Teams.

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product Development Teams.

  • Experience working with Wayfair, Home Depot, Amazon, Lowes, Overstock a plus.

  • Prepare sales and meetings presentations.

  • Attend vendor trade shows and ability to travel to customers as needed.

  • Contribute to a Highwood USA team.

Essential Functions

  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience Account Manager experience selling to eCommerce retailers and distribution.

  • Strong numbers/data/analytical background and attention to detail.

  • Excellent organizational skills and prioritization skills, managing multiple projects at once.

  • Experience selling in the Home Furnishing or Outdoor Industry preferred.

  • Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrate sound judgement and problem-solving skills.

  • Strategic thinker and able to execute tactically.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with management, peers and key stakeholders.

  • Clear understanding of and commitment to corporate goals.

  • Demonstrate commitment to company results.

  • Willing and able to travel.

  • Treat everyone with respect.

  • Commitment to working safely.

  • Advanced MS Office Suite skills and keyboarding skills.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects at once.

  • Experience with taxonomy and ERP systems is preferred.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, or a related field. A minimum of three years in online marketing/online retail channel merchandising and/or related digital product management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Previous account management and vendor sourcing experience a plus.
