Job Description
The Echo Technologist performs sonographic and noninvasive cardiac ultrasound procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury. In addition, the position provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division, under the direction of the Imaging Manager.
Minimum Education Required
2-Year College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications
Required: Successful completion of an accredited Cardiac Sonography program. Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) registry.
Preferred: Previous experience in Cardiac Sonography.
