The Program Specialist is part of the Financial Management Talent Development team (FMTD) within Corporate Human Resources. The successful candidate is experienced with managing multiple priorities, supporting project management, event coordination, and collecting data. The successful candidate has some experience with talent development practices, leadership and internships programs, and working in a fast paced, dynamic environment. This role supports core Program Management responsibilities in delivering a best-in-class, differentiated experience to associates in Leadership Development Programs (LDP) and internship programs within the Financial Management function.

Responsibilities for this position include support of day-to-day program management components in each stage of the talent lifecycle (engaging, onboarding, developing, and retaining). In addition, this role will be involved with special projects and initiatives as needed.

Responsibilities :
Day to day support in each segment of the talent lifecycle for multiple leadership development and internship programs:


Onboarding
o Plan and execute an engaging, impactful New Hire Orientation for full-time LDP associates, including communication to relevant stakeholders, securing appropriate technology, and other logistical components.


Talent Development
o Support identification, planning, and execution of hybrid development opportunities for LDP associates, including networking sessions and career and training seminars
o Own relationship with LDP Associate Councils to identify relevant development opportunities that support cross-functional associate development
o Support rotational role-sourcing efforts, including tracking incoming roles and compiling information to assist in the role placement process
o Support high impact initiatives, such as Manager Enablement and Leadership Curriculum
o Support FM leadership programs on an ad hoc basis through some coaching of internship talent
o Participate in talent calibration sessions


Program Administration
o Manage exam progress and compensation communication for the Actuarial early talent program
o Create and update documents, PowerPoint presentations, and important files
o Assist with creating feedback surveys and collecting/analyzing data

In addition, support cross leadership and internship initiatives:
• Provide ad hoc support and collaborate with FMTD team for all full-time leadership programs through identifying opportunities to streamline processes, reduce redundancies, and create synergies.
• Make recommendations for process improvements where appropriate

Qualifications :
• Bachelor's degree in an HR discipline preferred
• Continuous improvement mindset and a “can do” attitude
• Data mindset; comfortable with collecting and analyzing data
• Strong organizational skills and willingness to take on additional projects as needed
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills
• Proficiency using Microsoft Suite (including PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
• Highly collaborative and comfortable with change

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $63,300.00 to $94,300.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
