Director of Student Activities
Job description
The Director of Activities serves as the moderator of the student government program and is responsible for developing leadership with the students involved, enhancing school pride and spirit, and ensuring a quality student activities program. As a full-time position, the Director of Activities would teach the ASB Leadership course and 2 other courses.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent leadership development and event planning skills
- Experience using instructional technology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Serve as a grade-level advisor who is committed to the social and emotional development of students.
Desirable qualities:
- 3-5 years of teaching experience
- credential and/or Master’s degree in Education or a related field
- Experience working in co-curricular programs in a Catholic school setting
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
