JP Mascaro & Sons is a locally owned and operated private family owned company who has been experiencing record growth and success. In 1964, it started with one truck. We have grown into one of the largest most successful fully integrated solid waste companies serving the mid-Atlantic area.

We are seeking 2nd shift Diesel Truck Mechanics and/ or Service Technicians for our Bridgeport, PA location.

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections, maintenance, repairs and overhauls of diesel engines to maintain a "like new" condition which includes but is not limited to, brakes, tires and some electrical.
• Provide exceptional service to our customers and internal team.
• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components.
• Read job order, observe and listen to vehicle in operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.

Mechanics and Service Technicians with varying degrees of knowledge and experience - entry level through experienced will be considered for this great opportunity. A CDL license with Air Brake Endorsement (A or B) is a plus. Mechanics must have tools and a valid driver's license. In addition, we provide a tool allowance. A successful candidate will be reliable and dependable, safety conscious, have consistent on-time performance, strong customer service skills, and the ability to follow instructions.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
