**This position specifically for our Mission Hills (San Diego location)** LVN that is a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of CA (Required).
Full time -The shift is for SWING SHIFTS*****. LVN with Mental Health experience or licensed Psych Technician.

Qualifications:

• The Detox Manager will be appropriately licensed or certified in the state of locale.
• The Detox Manager will have had training or experience working with clients in residential DTX and/or RTC treatment programs.
• There is no history of alcohol or other drug misuse for a period of three years before employment as a Detox Manager.
  
• A Bachelor’s degree or above from an accredited college / university with major emphasis in any of the following areas: social work, addiction studies, psychology, sociology, counseling, nursing or a related behavioral health field and appropriate State / licensure certification. Minimum three years supervised clinical experience in a health or human service agency; one year of which must be directly related to outpatient
• At least 5+ years experience in various roles within drug and alcohol treatment settings, including but not limited to clinical technician, driver, house parent, Director, Supervisor, admissions counselor, operations manager.

Tasks and Responsibility:

The Detox Manager works under the supervision of the Clinical Director and the Medical Director.

Maintains professional standards and follows the treatment policies of the organization, The Joint Commission and Federal/State Laws and Regulations.

The Detox Manager will be responsible for the Infection Control (IC) Program and is designated as the IC Coordinator.

The Detox Manager is responsible for all Medication as ordered by the Medical Director, Program Physician, and to maintain accurate accounting of all medication received (from supplier) and observed (to the client).

He / She is responsible for the safekeeping of all medication stock and the records required by the DEA, FDA, JCAHO and DHCS.

The Detox Manager is responsible for training all clinical staff about medications, observation of medications, and medication destruction.

The Detox Manger is responsible for all detox assessments including CIWA, COWS, Vitals, etc. The Detox Manager is responsible for all medical documentation in the EMR including all physician notes and medication orders.

The Detox Manager may be responsible for urine collection and processing in conjunction with the clinical technicians, reading test results as ordered by Program Physicians and the completion of all forms involved in these procedures.

The Detox Manger is responsible for coordinating all external client medical and lab appointments.

Requirements:

• LVN that is a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of CA (Required). New Graduates welcome to apply. Must have passed NCLEX. Mental Health, Detox/residential drug and alcohol treatment experience preferred.

Compensation: $64,480-$75000, Full-Time = Benefits
