RaiZan Solutions is looking for a prompt Dental Hygienist to join our client in Shelby Township, Michigan.

Schedule: 4 Weekdays. No Weekends. No Evenings.

What You Do: 1. Promote complete dentistry (restorative, quadrant, and comprehensive care) by educating patients on their dental needs using the appropriate verbal skills, visual aids, models, and other tools  Ensure clinical closure and proper debriefing with the dentist  When applicable, schedule patient for consultation or comprehensive exam

2. Help patients achieve optimal periodontal health through the following:  Clear professional communications  Consistent utilization of patient education tools  Meticulous in-office patient care as per clinical hygiene SOPs  Instruct patients in home care as needed

3. Maximize practice and hygiene department performance by:  Being efficient  Working with front office to eliminate open appointments  Calling past due patients in accordance with established SOPs  Review of charts for the next day in accordance with SOPs

4. Complete the patient’s record documenting all services for the day’s treatment and conduct a handoff per SOP before dismissing the patient.

5. Maintain the appearance of the hygiene treatment room, sterilization area, instruments and trays. Ensure pamphlets and educational materials in hygiene rooms are stocked up.

6. Create a relaxing environment for the patient based upon their preference for music and/or video as well as other appropriate means

7. Build a strong and positive professional relationship with the patient that generates loyalty, compliance, referrals, and positive reviews

You Require:

* In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with co-workers and patients

*** Diploma in Dental Hygiene/Masters is a plus!

*** Minimum 3 years experience as a Dental Hygienist is must!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $44.00 per hour
