Responsibilities of a Dental Assistant:
- Preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring necessary equipment is ready for dentists.
- Assisting dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating needs.
- Taking Digital X-rays, scanning impressions, ordering supplies, and restocking rooms.
- Cross-trained to help with the front desk if needed.
Skills and Qualifications of a Dental Assistant:
- Customer service and communication skills to ensure patients feel comfortable during appointments.
- OSHA compliance regulations.
- Well organized and reliable.
- Attention to detail.
- Maintain a positive demeanor.
- Certified Coronal Polishing/Scaling. (preferred)
