The Senior Manager, Demand Planning is responsible for developing and implementing best in class Demand Planning practices driving improved Supply Chain performance. The Senior Manager of Demand Planning will be accountable for leading the Statistical Forecast Team to improved KPI performance and organizational effectiveness through people and process development. This strong candidate would have the potential to grow into a Director role in the future.

Job Responsibilities

  • Extremely strong knowledge and extensive experience working with an integrated business planning tool (i.e. JDA, SAP, Oracle, o9, LLamasoft)
  • Extensive Demand experience in leading a team of demand planners in an environment of a new integrated business planning process.
  • Serves an instrumental role for the following key initiatives:
    • Providing insights and analytics modeling to support supply chain tradeoffs that benefit the enterprise driving sales while balancing working capital.
    • Critical involvement in TBC’s S&OP enabling clean Supply & Demand planning processes
  • Works with the Product Marketing Team to assist with define processes to Phase In and Phase Out (PIPO) SKU’s with the supply chain network.
  • Prepares materials and contributes in regular executive level TBC Supply Chain Planning meetings.
  • Supports the demand-supply balancing process within the S&OP cadence.
  • Participates in demand-supply matching and “what-if” analysis activities during tactical S&OP meetings to resolve demand-supply imbalances and exceptions.
  • Collaborates with other departments such as Purchasing, Marketing, Transportation, Distribution, and Finance to manage net landed costs, reduce inventories and improve service levels.
  • Must be able to establish timelines, financial and operating goals and drive assigned teams to deliver against these goals in a fast paced work environment.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years plus of experience leading teams in demand/capacity/inventory management and the development of consensus demand plans.
  • Bachelors required, Masters in Operations research, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance or Business Administration preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership in implementing capabilities (Processes, methods, tools and data), which improve TBC’s operations and capacity to best meet the needs of the unconstrained demand plan.
  • Outstanding communication skills. Proven track record of effectively collaborating with other supply chain functions, and company stakeholders including sales, purchasing, pricing, marketing, inventory, transportation, warehousing and finance.
  • Ability to seamlessly move between tactical day-to-day planning and execution to working with other TBC executives in aligning to company level strategies.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of inventory policies, P&L’s and operating performance metrics.
  • Experience with one or more of the following supply planning tools: JDA, SAP, O9 or other advanced planning systems.
  • APICS or equivalent Supply Chain certification preferred.
