Utilizing a Direct Store Delivery (DSD) model, Cold Front Distribution receives premium frozen food products from major manufacturers. These products are then delivered directly off our fleet of trucks to grocery stores, convenience stores and food service accounts throughout our marketing area. We offer company uniforms, work boots and cell phone.

Essential Duties:

The person performs duties that include, but are not limited to the following:

· Drive NON CDL company truck to all assigned routes and ensure accurate product deliveries to all retail accounts.

· Meeting all DOT drug and alcohol and medical certification requirements.

· Provide clear, concise communication to retail partners, co-workers, and supervisors as appropriate.

· Ensure face-to-face communication at each account to include store manager, co-manager, grocery manager, frozen food manager and receiving clerk.

· Maintain a safe working environment within company policies. Wearing proper protective equipment as needed.

· Pick up and deliver credit inventory and a variety of other materials.

· Apply accurate invoice procedures with handheld communication device.

· Complete truck inventories as required.

· Off load pallets at assigned locations and check shipments against shipping documents noting overages and shortages. May unload products from pallets on freezer racks or carts depending on timelines.

· Performs daily pre-trip and post-trip inspection of assigned vehicle, performs general clean-up of vehicle interior, maintains records related to such and ensures required safety equipment is stored safely in truck and accessible when needed.

· Stay current on all DOT requirements, policies and procedures and ensure compliance with all administrative record keeping related to such.

· Assist merchandising and/or working loads when dictated by supervisor.

· Respond to changing company priorities and work as directed to support operational plans and objectives.

· Identify problems and report customer service, product, or delivery concerns to a supervisor immediately for prompt resolution.

· Attend meetings when scheduled and perform other duties as needed.

Qualified candidates must pass pre – employment / post offer background check, physical, drug screening and have a satisfactory MVR.

Benefits

· Hourly wage is $22.00 plus Overtime. Monday – Friday, 45 – 50 hours per week

· Vacation – 2 weeks accrued in the 1st year of employment

· PTO – 3 days accrued in the 1st year of employment

· Sick – 4 days accrued in the 1st year of employment

· Medical, Dental and Vision – available after 60 days of employment then 1stof the following month.

· Life and Short Term/Long Term disability – 100% paid by company

· 401k Retirement package after 60 days - the company currently is matching 50% of what you want to contribute, up to 6%.
