Sky Unlimited, Inc. is looking for a positive, problem-solving individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. This position will be responsible for working with customers to enter and process orders for personalized products, providing price quotes, answering product questions, and assisting customers via phone and email. The ideal candidate(s) will be given cross-training in multiple roles in the Customer Service Department including but not limited to invoicing, reception, order entry, and order verification.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide product quotes, freight estimates, order information, answers to billing questions, and other communication to customers via phone and email
  • Communicate with shipping carriers regarding product returns, package rerouting, claim submission, and lost packages
  • Relay extensive product knowledge and company policy information to customers and provide recommendations for the best products to fit their needs
  • Contribute to team effort by processing order entry, responding to emails from customers for general inquiries as well as order related questions, reviewing customer artwork and finalizing orders for production
  • Enter, edit, and finalize orders received from our customers via email or fax with our software system with a high level of accuracy
  • Answer, direct, and transfer calls using multi-line phone system
  • Proofread entered orders for inaccuracies and errors
  • Maintain communication with customers via phone and email regarding orders to ensure that all information is received in a timely manner
  • Effectively communicate with other departments regarding digital proofs, artwork concerns, and rush order requests
  • Process payments and handle wire transfers
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure retention
  • Resolve product or service problems regarding quality concerns, shipping errors, artwork concerns, etc.
  • Travel on an as-needed basis to attend trade shows

Education & Experience

  • Associates degree or higher preferred, but not required
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years in customer service, data entry, or related field
  • Experience in the Promotional Products Industry (i.e., ASI, PPAI, SAGE) is preferred, but not required

Skills & Qualities

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Must be able to do basic math for accurate order entry and invoicing
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Excellent communication skills, including email and phone etiquette
  • Documentation skills: including noting any changes to an order in the order entry system and on purchase orders, noting discussions with customers for other representative’s orders, and saving all necessary documents in the computer file for that order
  • Multi-tasking, computer literacy, and typing proficiency
  • Ability to learn customer service software applications
  • Ability to problem solve and remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to work well with others or independently
  • Microsoft Office knowledge required, including MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Detail-oriented and organized to meet deadlines
  • Willingness to take constructive criticism
  • Willingness to help customers with order needs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
