What you will do

Primary responsibility will be to perform all warehouse duties accurately and efficiently. This will include all shipping and receiving functions and safely operating a fork l ift. You will also be responsible at times for managing enormous amounts of incoming calls and emails, entering customer orders, and occasional deliveries. Often you will assist customers at our counter with all HVAC needs.

How you will do it:

  • Operate and service power forklift trucks.

  • Verify and record counts of incoming and outgoing material on operating system and report discrepancies to supervisor.

  • Responsible for keeping work area clean and orderly.

  • Perform daily production cycle counts as directed by supervisor.

  • Report shortages of material of any kind and take inventory of material at periodic intervals as directed.

  • Communicate daily with customers via phone, fax, email, etc.

  • Enter customer orders into the order entry system the same day the order is received.

  • Promote and support sales promotions.

  • Collaborate with regional sales force and other field staff to deliver premier customer service.

  • Work closely with other vital departments such as credit, billing, shipping, purchasing , technical service, marketing, etc.

  • Research and resolve customer complaints and issues and provide customer assistance in locating and identifying replacement parts.

  • Provide same day responses to scheduled dates and backorder status of product.

  • Research and process credit and return requests.

  • Perform daily maintenance to customer orders to ensure timely delivery based on customer demand.

What we look for
Required Qualification:

High School diploma or equivalent combined education and experience.
• Experience related to Customer Service and high-volume calls.
• Proficiency in Windows operating environment, including email and Microsoft Office software.
• Strong interpersonal skills and decision-making abilities.
• Effective and professional communication and organization skills.
• Strong conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume fast-paced environment.
