The Mobile Response team is a 2 person team that meets with people experiencing mental health or substance use crises wherever they are, and whenever they need it. The Mobile Crisis Response team is a 2 person team to provide peer support and guidance to Lake County residents in times of crisis:

• During a mobile crisis the team is dispatched to individuals and families seeking support during a mental health crisis.
• Provide intervention and follow-up to individuals and families served.
• Support outreach and engagement services to ensure the Population of Focus is aware of the availability of mental health services and can gain access to those services.
• Lived experience is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Education for the Mobile Crisis Response Team

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or
• Bachelor’s in any field and two (2-3) years’ experience, or
• Associate’s degree and five (5) years’ experience in behavioral sciences,
• High School diploma or GED and five (5) years’ experience
• Master’s degree in behavioral sciences and no experience
• Be capable of attaining Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) certification within 12 months of being hired.
• Must possess valid driver’s license.

Scheduled Hours: 24 – 40 hours a weekend for the Mobile Crisis Team

• All Shifts Available (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift)
• Ability to work every other weekend
• $2.50 differential for working hours deemed eligible for shift and weekend premium
