Job Summary and Qualifications

Our Medical Staff Services Coordinator will work under the supervision of the department director and will participate with legal, accreditation, regulatory compliance, and quality standards.

  • You will maintain provider records and the administration of PPM database/software for the facility.
  • You will be responsible for the interpretation and application of LGHM Bylaws, policies and procedures.
  • You will be required to perform duties necessary for efficient departmental operations including exercising confidentiality discretion and judgement in making independent decisions.
  • You will review (re)-application/reappointment list and other data for accuracy, status and completeness once turned over to MSO from CPC.
  • You will obtain licensure, certifications, and insurance certificates at time of reappointment and expiration and maintain in computer database. Will also monitor expirables with CPC for compliance.
  • You will provide updates and communications to medical staff.
  • You will be responsible for preparing materials for meetings (notices, resolutions, agenda, and related reports) and will capture essential information of a meeting and distribute to attendees/members.
  • You will communicate effectively with staff, peers, managers, providers, and physicians, external and internal customers.
  • You will assist with new application process with CPC/Cactus entry as needed

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in computer skills, excellent written and verbal communications, Detail and accuracy oriented, ability to work independently, strong organization skills, ability to communicate with physicians, administrators and other staff.

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
