Pay Range:

· $13 - $15 per Hour

Position Background:

A cookie production and packager worker at Palermo Bakery is responsible for producing various types of Italian cookies and sometimes packaging product efficiently and neatly for our wholesale partners like Mariano’s, Pete’s Fresh Market, and more. We are looking for someone with high energy who enjoys working with a fun, engaged, and diverse team of members. We love to work with people who are passionate about delivering high-quality desserts and customer service. Essential Job Functions:

· Understand inventory needs and prioritize items that need to be made or packaged to fulfill orders.

· Assist with the production of cookies

· Package products in an efficient and neat way.

· Put packaged products into their designated areas – storage racks, freezers, etc.

· Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

· Following food safety protocol as outline by PALERMO BAKERY by rotating stock, properly sanitizing, etc.

Job Specifications:

· Minimum Requirements

o Ability to work respectfully on your own and as a team player.

o The desire to learn and eventually take initiative.

o Positivity.

o Show up to all scheduled shifts and on-time.

· Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to lift items that weight up to 40 Lbs.
