We are looking for a skilled Cook to join our Food & Beverage team at the Hilton Garden Inn Greensboro Airport.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook and clean food service for designated shifts.
  • Prep food for next shift. Wash dishes and clean kitchen.
  • Behave professionally with staff and guests.
  • Provide a safe and clean work environment in the kitchen and dining area. Follow ServSafe food safety protocols.
  • Prepare and serve banquet food as needed.
  • Keep all storage areas neat and clean.
  • Establish a set of personal quality standards for the service area in cleanliness and work continuously to maintain those standards.
  • Write down maintenance or security problems to ensure they are not overlooked.
  • Prepare all food and beverages.
  • Keep all supplies, food and drinking products stocked and fresh.
  • Take inventory of food, beverage and supplies.
  • Inform management of your supply needs.
  • Be able to operate the service equipment.
  • Help other employees when needed.
  • Refer guest requests or concerns to appropriate department.
  • Report pertinent information to the next shift orally and in log books.
  • Continue and maintain a working relationship with other employees.
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds, bend stoop, and go up and down stairs. Employee is required to seek assistance if unable to lift or move an item over 30 pounds.
  • Perform all duties assigned by manager

Hours:

Candidate needs to be available for breakfast 5am to noon and dinner 4pm to 11pm. This includes having availability 7 days a week, as hours and shifts scheduled will vary. This position does include dinner shifts every Saturday and Sunday.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
