Beyond Home Services is a fast growing Residential Remodeling company based out of Kannapolis, NC. Our focus is high-end, custom designed, Kitchens and Bathrooms.

This position will report directly to the CEO/General Contractor and Interior Designer. As a Construction Superintendent, you will be at job sites regularly inspecting and reporting on the status of our projects as well as performing hands-on construction related tasks.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience in residential renovations.

Key Qualifications include:

COMMUNICATION:

• Ability to establish clear and effective working relationships
• Fluent in English
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus
• Professionalism in all forms of written and verbal communication

LEADERSHIP:

• Model and maintain a professional worksite environment focused on respect for the client's home, time, and investment
• Ability to inspect all stages of progress with an eye for fine details and make timely plans to resolve defects
• Be decisive, flexible, and calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Be punctual and time efficient

HANDS-ON SKILLS:

• Ability to identify challenges early and take action to prevent delay in schedule and cost overruns
• Identify and maintain a high level of quality from start to finished product
• Knowledge of Construction Practices and Terminology including residential framing, identifying load bearing walls, construction processes, basic residential building codes, and materials
• Hands-on experience with a variety of construction processes (demolition, framing, sheetrock, sheetrock finishing, window and door installation, weatherproofing, fire caulking, trim and carpentry work, painting, etc.)
• Reliable transportation than can transport job materials from the store to the job site (errand mileage reimbursed by company)

Key responsibilities of the position are:

• Provide daily updates for projects to the Construction Manager
• Take daily pictures, communicate progress, and upload photos to a company directory
• Work alongside the construction team and perform day-to-day construction work when needed
• Respond to, communicate, and resolve day to day challenges
• Order tracking, progress monitoring, and creating schedules
• Establish and maintain the flow of information and positive working relationships with everyone involved in the project
• Participate in regularly scheduled meetings and give/receive feedback as a way to always be growing as a team
• Provide project updates in BuilderTrend
• Participate as requested in marketing and business development activities
• Work with the Construction Team to ensure the project is constructed and completed according to schedule, within safety and quality expectations

Education/Experience Requirements:

• 3 years of Residential Renovation experience required
• 1 year Renovation/Construction Management experience required
• High School diploma required

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
