Position: Construction Safety Associate
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio (Locals Preferred)
Requirements:
- Provide EH&S leadership for the construction project
- Work with the Project Manager to ensure EH&S requirements are met for the site
- Conduct a formal safety audit of activities related to the project
- Act as a technical safety advisor to the Project Manager and Employees
- Facilitate site safety meetings and orientations as needed
- Complete regular, standardized reports detailing project safety status and report to the Project Manager or designee
- Assist in external agency interactions (OSHA Inspectors, OSHA Log Management) as appropriate
Qualifications:
- Must be a good communicator and team-oriented
- Must be able to advise on OSHA, EPA, and other pertinent safety and environmental requirements
- Five years of experience in construction safety
