Summary:

• The main function of a Demonstrator/Instructor is to demonstrate Client products effectively and safely, and provide operation and application training to customers, dealers, and internal personnel.
• A typical Demonstrator will contribute to marketing programs and provide dealer/customer support to assist in the sale of Client products and services.

Required Skills:

• Must possess a minimum of 8-10 years of operator experience in heavy construction, quarry/aggregates and or mining industries.
• Must have experience on at least four different product family machines.
• Must possess the ability to work effectively with those from various cultures and backgrounds.
• Must have the ability to professionally deliver presentations both in the classroom and the field is required, and the ability to win over potentially hostile audiences.
• Must have the ability to work in a team setting.
• Must have fluency in English.
• Must have a working knowledge of construction technologies (GPS, laser, etc.)

• The resource will develop technical training material and delivers service training classes on systems or products to meet worldwide service training needs for the Client's worldwide dealer network, customers, and Client global training centers. Collaborates with business units and marketing units to identify technical training needs.

Typical task breakdown:

• Develops and delivers technical content, and learning solutions related to the Well Service and Gas Compression industry segments.
• Collaborates with internal partners to follow GDL standards regarding course development and delivery.
• Works with instructional designers and SMEs to develop course material and assessments.
• Specifies the required graphics, prepares the video script, arranges for review by other technical experts, and prepares documents/visuals for final production.
• Conducts technician skill assessments.
• Serves as the subject matter expert and develops proposals/budgets for technical projects.
• Negotiates with approved suppliers to obtain goods and services.
• Completes assigned projects within budget and schedule.
• Works with product groups to meet current strategies, initiatives, and goals.
• Maintains lab equipment and performs lab equipment updates.
• Assists with requests for capital investments.
• Collaboration with the global instructor network.
• Promotes and leads safe and lean work practices.

Work environment:

• Onsite two weeks per month for training, more as business need requires.

Education & Experience Required:

• 8+yrs of industry experience, engineering, and technical support
• Preferred: College degree

Technical Skills:

(Required)

• Experience in progressive training assignments involving classroom instruction, design, development, and delivery of training courses and materials.
• Expertise in Client 3500 engine platforms or equivalent – TOP REQUIREMENT.
• Experience with Dual Fuel Engine Systems.
• Experience with Client Transmissions TH48, CX48, TH55 or equivalent.
• Competent in public speaking.
• Ability to travel up to 50% if not in the Miami Lakes area.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $18.57 - $50.00 per hour
