Description:

Looking for Carpenters or Wood Framers to join their team. They will be working on wood framing for large scale commercial projects. This involves framing, trimming, cutting, and nailing wood.

Some key words to look for in resumes:

• stair and rafter cutting
• pre-fab wall panels/trusses
• multi-family framing
• commercial wood framing

WOOD Framing experience a huge PLUS for these openings. Reliability and work ethic are non negotiable.

MUST HAVES FOR THE POSITION:

• strong work ethic/ability to work OT if necessary
• willing to learn/be challenged
• general construction knowledge
• reliable transportation
• Commercial construction experience

ORIENTATION:

Must lock down all candidates on making day 1 to orientation. Orientation will be held at their Plainville office 7 AM - 12 on their first day of work and they will be going to the site right from there. They will be getting paid for 8 hours even though they won't be actually working a full day and some of that will include driving time.

***All candidate must supply their own basic hand tools; Work boots, hard hat, tool belt, chalk line, 25 FT tape measure, speed square, cat paw, framing hammer.

BEST CANDIDATE: Prior experience working as a carpenter or apprentice on wood framing projects 1+ years experience is required. We will also consider candidates with Trade school education/training. Reliable transportation is mandatory.

AVERAGE: Hardworking, eager to learn, reliable, good attitude-These are qualities that are NOT on a resume. If candidates show to to IOI's, with theses qualities they should be considered-This can be a apprenticeship for the right person to grow into a long term career.

All candidates MUST be comfortable working at heights of 5+ stories.
