Overview:
Universal Engineering Sciences (UES) has an opening in our Construction Services Department. UES is a nationwide leader in Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Materials Testing and Inspection, Building Code Compliance, Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety, and Building Envelope.

This position is a key and vital part of the UES Team! Your day as the Construction Lab Technician for the Construction Services Department at UES will be challenging and rewarding.

Job Responsibilities:
- Testing Concrete and soil samples from the field.
- Ensure that all test equipment used is functioning properly, maintained, and calibrated
- Ensure that project testing requirements are met and compliant with project specifications
- Turn in paperwork every day attached to work order
- Assist in typing of reports as needed
- Communicate with various field personnel and colleagues
- Other duties may be assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to lift 35+ lbs repeatedly with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be at least 18 years old for entry onto job sites
- Ability to read and write, ability to use a computer
- Valid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications:
- Aggregate Base Testing Technician Certifications
- Concrete Cylinder Testing Technician Certification
- Concrete Strength Testing Technician Certification
- LBR Certification
- FDOT Asphalt Plant Technician Certification
