Your Role: As the Configuration Control Technician, you will be expanding the quantity of different products and processes for Spirit Maine by providing better configuration management of quality records. You will an integral part of the team being responsible for deploying and implementing configuration management policies and procedures, while applying status reports to prevent needless duplication of data.

Job Responsibilities:

  • This role will maintain Configuration Management (CM) on assigned programs in accordance with contractual requirements and FMI policies.
  • Release and submittal of configuration documentation in relation to program events.
  • Establish internal developmental configuration and contractual baselines.
  • Deploy, implement and provide oversight of Configuration Control Boards.
  • Account for and deliver Contractor Data Requirement List (CDRL) items.
  • Deploy, implement and provide oversight of Change Control policies and procedures.
  • Identify and maintain status of data received & submitted. Apply CM principles including configuration planning, identification, change control, status accounting and auditing with regards to program tasks.
  • Maintain quality data records, compile information, and prepare reports as needed for internal and external customers.
  • Implement and apply Configuration Management principles, processes, and procedures
  • Identify and coordinate process changes for configuration management
  • Interface with personnel from Program Management, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Support Systems Engineering, and Operations with respect to CM issues.
  • Support and facilitate version and process auditing and reporting
  • Explain, interpret, and gain cooperation on CM policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Supports, cooperates with, and participates in company-wide QMS and LEAN initiatives, which includes compliance with all safety policies, practices, and procedures;
  • Adheres to company and department policies, procedures, and standards;
  • Completes all required training
