Emerson House, a locally owned and operated memory care community (circa 2000) is seeking to hire an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with some background in longterm care and an understanding of the role and responsibilities of working in an memory care community.

This role require attention to detail, a sense of urgency, flexibility, critical thinking and can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for reviewing physician orders and 24-hour reports.
• Complete evaluations in a timely manner per state guidelines.
• Assist with pre-move-in and current resident evaluations.
• Assist with periodic & interim service plan re-assessments.
• Monitoring of medication passes and treatment schedules.
• Be a key player in all state and federal surveys and in developing and deploying plans of correction.
• Record patient medical records using PointClickCare (Electronic MAR).

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed nurse with current, unencumbered license to practice in the state.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A great heart and compassion for seniors.
• Must be a hands-on leader with a desire to train and mentor.
• Must be able to provide proof of Covid-19 Vaccination or have approved exemption.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
