We are looking for a BTS Manager capable to lead, from a business technology perspective, the journey of our affiliate towards a full data-driven mindset.

Main responsibilities will be within the Data & Analytics domain

• Lead strategy development for D&A products (e.g. AI, NLP, ML, …) to ensure the capability becomes pervasive throughout the organization
• Shape the local roadmap of DnA capability enablement and its key initiatives to foster a data-driven culture within the Affiliate
• Identify opportunities for New & Innovative data products
• Lead the deployment of DnA solutions across the affiliates
• Lead a team of data engineers to achieve the DnA objectives of the affiliate
• Work with the Global AbbVie teams to align organizational priorities with Data&Analytics (DnA) products evolution and prioritization across business functions
• Enforce data governance standards in conjunction with enterprise Data governance policy and work to identify, assess and remediate data quality issues
• Support all internal functions in analyzing and implementing DnA solutions in alignment with Global strategies.
• Be an active contributor to all internal functions to propose technology solutions which can make the affiliate processes more effective and efficient.
• Identify business needs, negotiate priorities between competing business partners interests, and then coordinate with internal team and partners to ensure that the requirements are implemented effectively.

Additional responsibilities will include the management of User Collaboration solutions domain

• Shape functional strategies and actively impact local key initiatives in the User Collaboration capability.
• Lead the deployment of User Collaboration solutions across the affiliate
• Support all internal functions in analyzing and implementing User Collaborations solutions optimizing local processes in alignment with Global strategies.

Knowledge, Experience and Soft Skills

• Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics degree or equivalents desired
• Demonstrated competence, with a required 10+ years of significant IT experience, with progressively growing experience in the following fields: information technology, logical and physical data modeling, database management, enterprise application integration, and business process management

• Experience working with Palantir Foundry and QlikSense, or other Data Platform and Analytics tools 5+ years
• Demonstrated experience with developing data strategy, policies, and procedures, as well as successfully executing programs that meet or exceed expectations in a dynamic environment; experience creating tools and capabilities to assist with data discovery & collaboration, ensure data quality, and to load, clean, enrich, manage, and share data and metadata from a variety of sources
• Experience in computer programming, query languages, and internet-based data visualization platforms
• Experience in data warehousing, data modeling, and/or data analysis
• Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop, HBase, Lucene/Solr) and Extract Transform Load (ETL) tools is a plus
• Experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Oracle, Hadoop, Teradata) is a plus
• 5+ years of experience in Pharma Company is a plus
• Experienced in working in matrix, international organization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interact with business colleagues in non-Technology conversations.
• Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
• Great team player and people manager with a commitment to contribute to the organization’s performance.
