About the role:

The Collections Manager works in close partnership with Billing, Accounts Receivable, other back office departments, and Sales.

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Oversee the staff and their collections activities, while participating in a hands-on manner in collections activities
• People Management: hire, train, performance manage and engage direct team.
• Act as mentor and escalation point for the team
• Refine and develop the collections process
• Maintain the collector worklists
• Manage the dispute resolution process, including working with Sales staff to escalate to clients
• Monitor and manage to relevant KPIs
• Provide reports for management

About you:

• You have a business-centric mindset and are able to work well with clients under pressure
• Ability to balance business needs with client service.
• Ability to work with members of your team as well as cross functionally within Axiom.
• Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• High aptitude for learning and using technological systems.
• High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience / qualifications.

Axiom's total rewards philosophy is to be transparent and equitable with all job candidates. The annual base salary range for this role is $55,000 - 75,000 base and you will be eligible to participate in our cash bonus plan which on target would be 20% of your base salary for a Manager role in Finance.
