We are seeking an exceptional CNC Swiss Applications Engineer who is passionate about technology and relishes the challenge of developing new products. Our ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of tooling holders, cutting tools, bar feeders, and
CNC programming. This is a hybrid role, approximately 50% travel and home weekends.

Duties:

• Prepare machine demos, select tooling, order required materials, program and set up machines, and perform part runoffs.
• Analyze customer requirements, manage and lead new project launches, obtain necessary vendor support and quotations, and assist customers with technical information, applications, part programming, tooling, and service-related questions.
• Prepare and participate in trade shows, work closely with the applications team, and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
• Conduct in-house or on-site training per customer need and manage and lead new project launches from start to finish.
• Work in collaboration with service engineers for commissioning of machines on the showroom and at customer sites.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience setting up CNC Lathes and/or Swiss Lathes, with experience in FANUC and/or Mitsubishi controls.
• Experience programming with any CAM software (Mastercam, NX, Esprit, etc.).
• Ability to work independently, balance multiple priorities with minimal supervision, and possess strong critical thinking skills for troubleshooting programming errors and machining processes.
• Positive, professional attitude with a customer service focus.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $89,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
