DUE to our constant expansion, Interroll is immediately hiring for a CNC Machinist position (2nd Shift) to start as soon as possible!

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Read blueprint or job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances; reads tooling instructions such as fixtures, feed rates, cutting speed, and depth of cut to determine sequence of operation.

2. Set up and operate CNC machines.

3. Interpret complicated drawings, program sheets, instructions and process sheets.

4. Inspect first run and sample work piece to verify conformance of machined work piece to specifications.

5. Perform a variety of milling, drilling, or boring operations to close and interrelated tolerances.

6. Install cutting tools and machine spindle or magazine.

7. Perform inspection and gaging operations to ensure maintenance of quality standards.

8. Assemble a variety of products of sub-assemblies using complex drawings or blueprints as reference sources.

9. Perform test of final product utilizing test panels and customer specified set-up; troubleshoot failures and direct rework.

10. Pack a variety of moderate to heavy parts or products in standard boxes, crates, or other containers.

11. Operate forklift, power equipment or pallet jack to move material, parts, or products.

12. Verify and close orders; complete picker.

13. Perform routine and daily cleaning and maintenance of machines.

14. Train other employees and/or temporary workers on production assignments and equipment as requested by the supervisor.

15. All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent plus some post-secondary coursework.

2. Possess at least three years of similar or related experience.

3. Possess basic mathematical skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, use whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Possess the ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.

4. Possess the ability to deal with problems involving limited concrete variables in standardized situations.

5. Possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, bar graphs, and procedure manuals.

6. Possess basic communication skills using common courtesy.

7. Possess the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral, written, or diagram form.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1.00 - $25.00 per hour
