C.N.A. Full time Night Shift

7 pm - 7am (night schedule)

Are you a certified nursing assistant who works well with others, and has a compassionate and positive attitude and demeanor? Do you enjoy patient care?

We are seeking a pleasant and professional C.N.A. to take care of our patients at our Inpatient units in Martin and St Lucie counties.

Under the direct supervision of the RN, and following the plan of care to provide comprehensive care to patients and families including but not limited to:

• Perform bed bath, sponge, tub, and/or shower bath.
• Perform hair shampoo, nail and skin care, oral hygiene for each patient.
• Ensure safe transfer techniques and ambulation.
• Assist patients with normal range of motion and positioning
• Ensure adequate nutrition and fluid intake.
• Must maintain a valid Florida driver’s license.
• Must maintain current auto insurance.
• Must demonstrate clinical competency upon hire and annually thereafter.
• Must be able to read, write, and verbally report clinical information to patients, caregivers, and other Hospice staff.
• Must be Covid-19 vaccinated
• Must pass Level II background
• Must pass Drug screening.
• Knowledge of EMR systems. Netsmart preferred.
• Attendance is a condition of employment.

Qualifications

• Current and active C.N.A. certification in the state of Florida
• CPR certification
• One(1) year of experience in hospice care, patient care, either in an acute care setting, long-term care or home health agency preferred.
• Previous experience working with an EMR/EHR (Electronic Medical/Health Record) system required. Netsmart a plus.
