Claims AMD Express Care Representative (remote opportunity)
Job description
Summary: This role is responsible for investigating and handling low complexity Auto Claims, including damage evaluation.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Investigates, evaluates, and negotiates assigned low complexity claims based on coverage and damage.
- Creates and reviews estimates utilizing various forms of technology.
- Determines repair verses total loss assessments utilizing estimating software.
- Documents files to include all key procedures regarding estimates, vehicle repairs, total loss determinations and interactions with customers and repair facilities.
- Effectively explain repair processes to customers and shops. This may include sheet metal repair/replacement, frame repair/replacement, refinish processes and mechanical operations
- Develops and maintains positive relationships with all customers while providing a differential customer experience as outlined in our customer experience pledge.
- Possess the ability to handle multiple methods of inspection.
- Reviews and resolves damage disputes with shops and/or appraisers as assigned
What You’ll Bring To The Company:
Must be detail oriented and possess strong organization skills. Computer literate in industry software. Proficient communication skills both oral and written with strong analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to interact with people in a professional manner and to work independently. Excellent customer service and solid negotiation skills. Ability to pass written Claims Representative licensing examinations where applicable. Possess the ability to function in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to change.
