Are you ready for a 4 day work week???

This is an opportunity to be part of Hopkins Clinic that has been helping injured patients in Pinellas since 1997. We specialize in treating patients injured in automobile crashes. The position is full time; 40 hours per week over a 4-day (Monday through Thursday) time period. The primary job duty is performing manual therapy in 30-minute blocks. On an average day, you would be needed to perform about 5 to 8 twenty-five-minute massages. You would also be administering various physical therapy modalities such as moist heat, cryotherapy, decompression traction, ultrasound, electric muscle stimulation and Class 4 laser therapy. All new employees receive detailed training in these modalities whether you are experienced or have no prior training at all in modalities. These therapies are all performed under the direct supervision of a Chiropractic Physician or Physical Therapist. All the patient record keeping is performed by the doctor. Part of your day will be occupied performing desk duties of patient file maintenance, copying records, and other clerical tasks. You will receive cross training in front desk / receptionist skills as well. Some in office cleaning of the treatment rooms and laundry for patient gowns and towels is required. A professional cleaning service thoroughly cleans the office every other day.

The 4 day per week shift is from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Thursday. No Friday or Saturday hours are required. Three-day weekend!! The lunch break is for 45 minutes.

On an average day, you would perform about 5 to 8 half hour massages. In between the manual therapy, you would also be administering various physical therapy modalities such as moist heat, cryotherapy, traction, ultrasound, electric muscle stimulation and Class 4 laser therapy. All new employees receive thorough training in these modalities whether you are experienced or have no prior training at all. These therapies are all performed under the direct supervision of a Chiropractic Physician or Physical Therapist. All the patient record keeping is performed by the doctor.

The other part of your day will be occupied performing desk duties of patient file maintenance, copying records, and other clerical tasks. You will also receive cross training in front desk / receptionist skills. Some in-office laundry for patient gowns and towels is required. Light cleaning of the treatment rooms and equipment is your responsibility. A professional cleaning service does all the heavy cleaning of office every other day so you don’t have to!

Active Florida Massage Therapy license is required.

Bilingual skills of speaking English and Spanish are a big plus!

There are 8 team members here now that have all worked together for years. The stylish modern office is over 3200 square feet and well furnished with high grade therapy equipment.

If you do not have much experience working in a medical setting verses a spa setting, do not worry! We are happy to train you. However, you must bring your own ENERGETIC, HAPPY and SMILING personality with you. This is a deal breaker!

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
