POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for assisting the Kitchen Manager/Cook in cooking, proportioning, and delivering snacks and meals to the YMCA Child Care classrooms. Provide a clean and healthy working environment within the licensing regulations of the State of Wisconsin.

PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS

Skills: This position requires the ability to work independently, strong organization skills, knowledge of proper food handling, cleaning and sanitation. Substitution of comparable training or abilities will be taken into consideration.

Competencies: Position requires high energy level and ability to work in an active environment. Must be able to lift, carry, load, and push food boxes and trays (up to 50 pounds). Must exhibit the Y core values of respect, responsibility, honesty and caring.

Certifications: CPR w/AED and First Aid is a position prerequisite, but will allow 60 days post-hire to obtain. Valid driver’s license and comfortable driving company vehicle is preferred.

Physical Requirements: Prior to work, all staff will be required to provide a Physician signed health examination and complete a fingerprint background check.

Age: Minimum age is 18.

SCHEDULE
Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (hours may vary).

WAGE
$10.88 - $12.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Eligible for monthly bonuses based on hours worked. Includes a fully-paid adult YMCA membership.
